    Friendly staff! It was my first time here and the staff helped me decide while I was debating what to get. I got the plate with combo chicken shawarma and falafel (heart-shaped!) and it was a lot of food for a plate! Overall was pretty good; my usual go to is falafel stop and I wanted to try another similar, top rated Mediterranean restaurant l, and this did not disappoint. My personal preference is still falafel stop, but if I'm in the area I would definitely go again!

    I recently got a to-go order from Achilles, which was nothing short of amazing. I got the gyro beef plate with half rice and greens, the works, and tzatziki. What great value for the amount of food. Though the rice and greens didn't seem as much, the sauces and dips were plentiful, and the flavourful gyro beef was filled to the brim. The side sauces and dips were delicious. I particularly loved the Achilles spread and baba ganouj. Looking forward to coming back and trying the chicken plate.

    Nice Mediterranean place with an easy to follow menu. We got the pocket sandwiches and you get two sides with it. I got the chicken shawarma (4/5) with tahini and spicy sauce and that spicy sauce has some heat--either that or it was the banana peppers. I got a lot of chicken and a good amount of vegetables as well. My bf got the Achilles chicken pocket sandwich and I preferred that over the chicken shawarma--it had better flavor and better texture. The falafels (3/5) were a bit disappointing. The outside was too hard and felt like it was overcooked. Paired this with the hummus and it was better though. Overall a nice place to go to for Mediterranean food. You get a lot for what you pay for and the service is good. Note to self: get hummus and cucumbers for sides next time.

    We've been coming to Achilles for years now and I'm surprised my last review was so long ago! Achilles is a fast casual delicious Mediterranean establishment. At no cause of the owners, the building is dated and the atmosphere is simple and straight forward. The focus is on the food and is always top notch! The quality of the meat and the made from scratch accoutrements are spot on. The owners are the salt of the earth type of people you feel really good about spending your money on. They truly care and will make your food and experience right if there are ever any concerns. I hope you love their food as much as we do!
